I was Steve's Chief on the USS Emory S. Land. He was an excellent sailor and a wonderful person. He always had a positive attitude and a smile.

I offer my deepest sympathy, and pray that you take comfort knowing what a positive impact Steve had on so many people.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. He didn’t get a chance to fully live his life expectancy. May you please be comforted by these promises. One day soon, “death will be swallowed up forever” ….Isaiah 25:8 and Jesus promised, “the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29.
